To minimise loss of scientific progress and, hence, to support career advancement during pregnancy and the first years of parenthood the RTG-NCA finances scientific support personnel for a period of 6-12 months in the lab to keep experiments and research projects going and to relieve young parents from routine duties in the lab. This offer will be addressed to scientists with children up to an age of 3 years.

 

The University’s own day-care centre 'Paramecium' and a back-up and babysitting service (on demand) for events and meetings are parts of the childcare infrastructure for children of employees and students.
